Pilates
Pilates differs from typical workouts in that the focus is on working the smaller muscle groups to create the look and feel of length and strength.
Our mat classes take place in a group setting using your body weight as the primary source of resistance. Focus is placed on precise movements originating from the center or core of your body. Working from the deepest layers of abdominal muscles, which stabilize and support your spine and pelvis, the result is a strong, flexible spine with ideal posture and alignment. Classes emphasize the foundational principles of Pilates while offering modifications and variations to suit each student’s individual needs. This is a great full-body workout, leaving you feeling toned and rejuvenated.
