Work Conditioning
Work Conditioning differs from Work Hardening in that it provides a more condensed and cost effective product. This allows workers to gradually rebuild their individual endurance to job specific requirements.
This program is a coordinated follow-up to the acute and chronic rehabilitation programs and offers great variability as it can be readily modified. Participants should be prepared for active involvement for two to four hours, five days a week.
Work Conditioning is ideal for workers unable to return to full duty in that it provides a bridge towards safely returning to a full work load.
